If you want to be like that then I'm glad it gets under your skin. Expect me to ramp it up. Lol go for it mate, if you think it bothers me have fun. I know it bothers you. The proof is in the pudding of your original post. I love objective facts.

Listen, y'all, I reckon I'm feeling the blues, just like any other football soul out there. The game's done gone and shifted its shape. Coaches and players, they're up and leaving schools like it's nothin'. Kids, they're strolling into signing day behind the wheel of a Lamborghini. An undefeated FSU, told to hit the road. The game, it's riddled with corruption and schemes, and there's likely more foul play that slipped my mind in that tirade.
Now, the bright side: our love for Troy still burns strong. Troy, she's one of the truest gems in all of college football. Gameday on campus, it's a haven of safety and joy for you and yours. But what matters most is that Troy's still hungry for a scrap. The conniving mouse and the deep pockets up north of Richmond, they're aiming to smother Troy's shot at the big time. But Troy, she don't give a damn. We've always been the underdog, scrappin' and clawin', and that's what makes it so damn beautiful. You might not catch a victory every game, but stick with Troy, and sooner or later, you're hoisting another Sun Belt title, maybe even takin' down LSU on their own turf. Troy ain't asking for much either. Sure, you can stretch that wallet wide for Gary or Jonesy, but they ain't chasing you down for it. A ticket to a Troy game? A measly 10 bucks. The big spender who throws down a million, he's as glad to see the guy with the 10-dollar ticket.
So, let's all rally 'round old Troy, do what we can, even if it's just us fans congregatin' here, doing what we do best.

I know we're talking about our players going into the portal but is there any chance Coach Parker pulls some good players out of the portal?

GP can’t say there not any to get…

Money is money but when one invests in a program or other people just as much as they do themselves. Give me that guy if he has talent.

Good luck to these young men. I read somewhere that something like 70% of transfer players don't start at their new team.

JMU has had a few transfers withdraw their name already. Until these guys announce a destination, there is a chance some of them will stay at Troy.

It is so new all the kids want to play with the new toy. Later on, they find out that their old toys are pretty nice too. Some of them in portal are pretty dang gone good. Jabre reminds me a lot of Tez so I will be surprised if he is not snatched up.

Keeping an eye on this one.
No way he comes to Troy. Jabre Barber was our leading WR, and he's already getting offers from Texas A&M, FSU, Kansas State, and South Carolina. I'm sure Notre Dame's leading WR will get similar offers.

Well we have “survived” the thirty days of the winter transfer portal without losing too many players (I think we loss about 17, it COULD have been worse). With The Portal closing in about ninety minutes, I wonder when Troy Football will begin shopping⁉️
LOTS of roster spots to fill especially on defense. Really hoping our younger guys step up into leadership positions as they educate their new teammates to the “Trojan Way” and keep us moving forward‼️

Derrick is getting a ton of cash...can't fault him. He could have sat out the bowl game and he didn't.

Derrick was a kid I thought was good size from near Orlando. So, when he played in 20 I thought he was pretty decent for a Frosh. For some reason hardly ever played in 21. But then again our staff at the time had REAL problems. A guy from Ocala who was a reserve lineman at Troy years ago and I got on here and discussed how we were mystified by why this kid was not playing. I always thought he was bigger than the 6’4” listed. Fortunately, JS staff saw he was usable and then this year did a real good job. He will make some good money at A&M and probably be able to play. I find it funny what good coaching could do for a good raw kid. Now under the climate of today is reaping some benefit. He did not sit out and had a highlight for life in that game. Good job Derrick!

Thus far TJ, DG, Jayden and Jabre have set themselves up to make big money and do bigger things. I’m proud for them and if that’s what happens to all portal guys, then good for them. There are several in the portal from Troy who will see the grass is not greener and may still be sitting in the portal on Labor Day weekend.
This staff is working hard and has already landed a few difference makers.

I hope it is clear to all these transfers that in 9 or 10 years when we celebrate the championship teams, these guys should come back to be honored. Once a Trojan, always a Trojan. That goes for Rowell and (The HC we don’t speak of).
