Haven't seen the new depth chart yet, so I'm gonna post the one from 5 days ago when the media guide was released: Depth Chart: ibb.co/23pGd0Y

Can any of you fill me in on the K/P Kyle Coale from Palos Verdes CA??
Could be a huge factor since Sumpter is sitting the bench with HCNB in WVA.

I thought we had two Nixons on the team right? Aren't they brothers, Kyle and Kevin...anyone know what happened to the other one not listed on the depth chart?
Also interesting to see Rials as the backup holder and not mentioned anywhere else -- I thought he was a grad transfer last year from South, and didn't know he had another year.
I am also interested in seeing first time starters Coale as kicker and Medina as NT.
I am optimistic about this year!

He redshirted his freshman year (2016). He was injured after that and had to have surgery, and begin working his way back to kicking again.
He was considered a pretty good kicker in the LA area. He kicked a 47-yard and 49-yard field goal in high school, which is impressive. He's had some pretty good coaching over the years, attending various kicking academies.

The story on Luis Medina is interesting. He's got a BIG future. The fact he's a freshman, and starting at nose guard says a lot. He was our 4th-highest rated recruit from the past recruiting class... had offers from USF, UCF, and Louisville. Had heavy interest from Tennessee and Georgia.
The fact he could squat 500 lbs. as a junior in high school is amazing. He's a P5 player that went under the radar, probably because he's "only" 6' 1". Other DT's that were rated lower than him wound up signing with schools like Georgia, Stanford, Wake Forest, Illinois, Arizona, Syracuse, Kentucky, Florida State, and Boston College.

You're right on Rials - good call. Thanks for the info about Medina -- very impressive! I really like watching Choloh too on the d-line -- it will be a fun (and hopefully much improved) D to watch!

To answer a previous question: Kevin Nixon medically retired a while back.

Man...we are loaded at the offensive skill positions π³ Scary good. The offense will come down to QB and OL play. Some question marks there.

Man...we are loaded at the offensive skill positions π³ Must be the reason that Kirk H during College Game Day picks gave a shout out to our 3rd string RB, stating he should have a good day ππ€£ππΌ
