Just another example of the same old problem:
Drove to Troy for Friday Night Lights and the trip took almost four hours due to major accident on I-65, BUT it was worth every second to see how the team is coming along (Rome was not built in a day).
Flash forward to Saturday morning at a hotel in Troy as we walk into the lobby both wearing our Troy shirts. A hotel employee begins the typical conversation where are you from, where are you going? We respond that we drove down for the scrimmage last night to see the football players. The response from the employee, "Are you Alabama or Auburn fans"? OF COURSE we responded in unison, We ARE Troy fans! Flash forward about five minutes and a second employee ends up asking the same question
Morale of the story, I will communicate with the GM and enlighten them that they are in the City Limits of Troy and DO I have some suggestions on how they can improve their property and guest relations

Given their inability to read your shirts, I can say without a doubt that they are graduates of one of those two institutions they mentioned! Most likely the one in Tuscalooser, Alabama! Maybe it is just me, but were it my business, I would hire only graduates of Troy University!!

We all know what the "A" stands for on the back of those trucks. And it's not the first letter of a state. Just saying

Like I have said, the majority of the local community does not support Troy.

That bama hat really bothered me. Just take it off for the segment. How hard is that? Unfortunately I think that IS his favorite hat!! We stop in for our pre-game meal before every home football game and most of the time "IT" is on his head. IF my memory serves me correctly, I think he had a Troy hat on one time and I might have said something positive about it.
Maybe all of the Troy faithful that are in town for T-Day should take advantage of ScreenTech's BOGO Sale at the stadium today and give a gift to someone in the local work force at our favorite hotel, restaurant, retail store, etc. Could be a reminder to them that we do bring business into the local economy during Troy Athletic events
