Went ahead and did my season ticket today. I'm hoping to be at the TX St Armadillo game Oct 10. I find out Oct 5 if I need my third left shoulder surgery in four years...UGHH!! How is the tailgating etc going to be? Is everyone tailgating as usual or is Troy limiting it? I haven't heard any news yet from the T-Club on whether they are setting up a tent. What about Trojan Walk? Going to be a different feel for sure. Go Trojans!!!

No TROJAN Walk, tailgating on the terrace at reduced capacity, other places with social distancing, masks on at all times inside The Vet except when eating or drinking.

At least it will be a little cooler by Oct. Wearing a mask in the heat right now is brutal

Don't panic over the "mask on when not eating or drinking" no worries there

I hope we get to have all of our games. BYU postpones Army and due to the Covid it is cutting close to our game. Watching College football scoreboard show and they are talking about The BIG10 May vote today. What a crapola show. So much on the line for communities from Covid Flair (I do not think tremendously likely) but the devastation on top of the shutdowns to business is absolutely terrible. AND ALMOST ALL OF THE NO VOTES DUE TO 98% OF IT BEING POLITICS. IHard to understand how (for someone statistically driven)we decide to lose billions. Folks if the national speed limit was 10 miles per hour we would save 35,000 lives and countless injuries but we have decided risk assessment does not dictate that. I know if we had fill out football with limited crowds and testing like it is there would NOT be as a significant impact due to football NOT being played as opposed to being played as the speed limit analogy. That is why I call this political. There simply is no other explanation given the burn through nature of covid. No matter what side of aisle you are on, all of us will be happy to know that it is Nov4th (given the 80 million mail in count) unfortunately, college football and all those attached to it are simple pawns to some because if it was based on science the Big10 would be playing

Thank you SBC for making the choices you did!!! At Least there will be some game day experience!!!
The poor Big 10 you can check out their requirements to play. It is not like SEC or Big 12 or for that matter anyone else. Is a bit like telling your kids “kids we are not having Christmas this year.....4 weeks later.....kids it’s back on but it is being moved to February and if ....ONE....this little list of 4200 items is found it will be off again.......we will let you know.”

PAC 12, MWC with 8 or 7 game schedules and MAC having vote soon. Guess everyone decided that just watching others play was not worth the pain. Can not wait for some game day experience. This year will not be normal but thanks to SEC, ACC, Big 12, SBC and CUSA and AAC just not willing to say the line of “we all need to hide and maybe it will go away”. Oh yes I have to give some credit to Nebraska for forcing Big10. Welcome back to life guys. College football refused to knuckle under to political pressure to stay hiding. Even if it took a lot for some to come out and see their shadow

Even if it took a lot for some to come out and see their shadow Just please continue to exercise common sense - wear a mask whenever possible in public spaces and wash your hands frequently. We finally got our (small, rural) critical care units down to a reasonable capacity and are hoping to see it stay down rather than surge yet again because of a general lack of basic precautions because "woohoo, football!" as the SEC gets rolling. I know people are fatigued with hearing it, but do be safe while also enjoying yourselves.
