We had our chances. A base running error cost a run later in the inning. The MS pitcher started the game with a 1.12 ERA, struck out 11. Tough game.

So are the wheels falling off the wagon?? Yes, big time. Apparently they can't overcome getting swept by Florida.
We're playing some ugly baseball right now, that's for sure. Probably some of the ugliest baseball I've seen since the 90's. Our fielding and throwing looks like a high school team sometimes.

I never considered fielding in the assessment of this team’s Regional chances because I can’t remember a time when Troy struggled with errors. There’s a first for everything, I guess.

Sat between 94-96 throughout the game. He was great... but the other losses we've recently incurred (UAB, ULL) had some terrible fielding miscues, and plenty of runners left on base.
