May be a bit off timing-wise to mention this after a loss, but Troy women are still projected to be a 12-seed in the latest ESPN Bracketology. That speaks highly of the work they’ve done so far. Hopefully they can rebound and start another big winning streak.

It seems Troy has been locked in as a 13-seed in recent weeks, landing anywhere from Tallahassee to Evanston to Tucson. If memory serves well, the 4-13 matchups in women's basketball are kind of like the 5-12 in men's — a lot of upsets in there. I believe Little Rock was a 13 when they won an opening round game a few years back.
Meanwhile, Troy got two points in the USA Today coaches poll!

Could be a great chance to advance to the 32

First we need to beat Coastal Carolina... I'm a little worried about this game.
The Chants will be looking for revenge for losing earlier this year... and they are a very, very good team. If there is any team that can rebound as good as Troy, it's Coastal.
And if Coastal wins, they most likely sail through the rest of their easy schedule... Troy, on the other hand, still has 3rd-place Little Rock to play TWICE.
