I can just go by what me daughter said about if. She attended Troy starting Aug 2013 and graduated May 2017. She said you couldn't count on it and her friends that lived off campus ended up driving or walking or risk being late. Nothing new, my son had the same issues at UCF. Wait on the shuttle = late for class. He ended up buying a bicycle, crossing a four lane busy highway and then riding three miles each way to class.

Are there numbers that someone can call if the transit bus isn't there on time? Maybe someone would need to leave more than an hour before their class and maybe not leave campus until the last class. Confusing I know but pretty simple logic.

Oh to be young again It's never too late to return for a master's. You can be enrolled for January and by the time you finish the degree, you'll have had a couple of years to enjoy all that. Now I won't guarantee that you'll be able to secure on campus housing, a frat bid, or locker room access, but if you don't give it try, you'll never know. Just think, you could spend 3 more years in TROY and get to use all that time to provoke Hemi in person. Have I sold you yet?

I am always amazed at the changes on campus and in the program. Seems like 100 years ago now that we were there. Of course ... I loved my time at old TSU! Of course ... even my kids say that they missed out. Daughter finished 3 years ago ... she always says, man ... they wait until I leave and get a Publix! Now my son is senior ... the rec center will open after he leaves as well!

But our kids missed out on 4 flights of stairs several times a day, surpluss prison bunks, no cable tv, no carpet in the rooms, bathroom on the hall with showers that scalled you if your buddy flushed the toilet lol. Old Stewart Hall for good old Saga food. Good old Slumni, wouldn't trade my memories there for anything

Good old Slumni, wouldn't trade my memories there for anything Oh, boy is that funny...the first time my parents showed up at Slumni, they asked me if it smelled like "this" all the time...I said smelled like what? Of course, after so many months in the building, you become numb of any smells....they said it smelled like "Pi$$".... They had me out of there within weeks....Thanks Dr. Doug Hawkins (RIP) and Herb Reeves, my folks asked them if they knew of any apartments open and Dr. H slipped me right into one.... It had burned down, he refurbed it....so no more "Pi$$", just burnt wood smell....all my dates thought I had a fireplace.....Classic!
